Is there something on my feet?

This is what happens whenever I go into the baby pen. In these pictures I was actually standing outside the pen because as soon as I opened the gate, here they came running out. About half were still in the pen

Ever tried to walk with 50 chicks trying to stand on or around your feet? LOL.

You'd think I had food on my feet!

Actually, what happens is that I don't have a feeder in this pen. So I put out food morning and night......now when they see "food lady" coming, they are very excited. I sometimes kneel down with the bucket and set some of the little ones in there to get first dibs. Want to make friends with your chicks? Let them run out of food for an hour. It's as though they have never eaten before.......

I have some Del chicks that do that. They always peck my feet but I figured it's cuz my clogs are green. Nutter's I tell ya!

Nella, when the photos came up on my screen I literally did Laugh Out Loud.

My big chickens do that to me, but they can't all fit on my feet any more. When I walk, I feel like I'm wearing a big antebellum skirt made out of chickens; the whole mass moves with me, shifting positions, every one of them wanting to be closest to my hands.

My nice big girls do that to me, I can't walk through the run without Miagi on one and Ezzy on the other most days!
