So, we were just "gifted" a turkey, it was free, and no information came with her, so we named her Gravy and we're excited to learn about turkeys.
I have chickens and sheep, so this is my first turkey experience. Any ideas of her breed? Does her face look normal? If it were a chicken, I would think it was really dry and overly warty. (Is that what fowl pox looks like on a turkey?) Her eye lids are very pronounced and when she pecked at her feed, she missed half the time. I just want to know what it is that I don't know, so I can help her if there is something wrong.
I should note, that her legs look great, healthy, in my opinion, as if they were healthy chicken legs. Again, my experience is limited to chickens.
