Is there something wrong with my pekin duck

His feathers look like this and he flaps his wings very lightly compared to usual

To me, it looks like his wing has been cut. Does he have a habit of flying into the neighbour's yard?

Pekins can't fly and he never goes into the neighbor's yard

It was a joke (the flying into the neighbour's yard). But, it does look like his wing is cut to me, because of the angle of the feathers. How old is he? Could he be in molt?

he is exactly a year old, there are feathers everywhere and his brother is quite ruffled so he could be molting. it is weird because he used to try flying a ton and now he just weakly flaps his wings so im not sure if hes in pain or what

I am guessing it's a molt. I tend to think that it must feel weird, if not uncomfortable, to have all your feathers get loose, and have new feathers growing out through your skin. ugh. I Runners flap gently when they molt. And they don't want to be touched.

The wing feathers look like new ones coming in. That can look like a clipped wing sometimes.
