is there such thing as a chicken leash

i know it sounds weird but i think it would be cool to walk my chickens and if it is real where can i get it

There is a tie cord with a hitch for the chickens leg. Refered to as a "tie cord" you can probably get one from Randal Burkey. They are used to stake out gamecocks......Pop

Luna, you should be able to get a tiny show leash for a small dog at any petsmart or pet store. They are super fine and have a adjustable tie on them. Should work perfect. Also, there are parrot harnesses that might work.

I used a cat harness and leash on mine. My silkies used to let me walk them, the new chickens won't.

I live near a large Latino community, and it is not usual to see someone walking their bird down the street on a string. The bird looks happy and the person walking him looks happy. I tried it once, and the bird freaked out. I doubt they'll like it rite off that bat. But, eventually like any trained animal they'll get to liking the walk and will tolerate the string holding them back
