is this 9 week old chick a meet breed? a roo?

I don’t think it’s a meat breed. It looks to be a splash coloration, maybe an Orpington? It looks like a hen, but it’s still early and I could be wrong.

My Orpington has a pretty big breast, they are dual breed. That could be what she is. Where did she come from?

That’s not a rule and in practice it varies. You cannot compare a slow maturing breed like an Orpington to production breeds
