Is this a Austrolop?

I would say grey legs, the bottom of feet are lighter

Got as part of a Pullet Pack from Meyer, and thought Austrolop, but they just keep growing They do have the greenish sheen too.

Looks like a biggun' ! Maybe a Jersey? I was looking at feathersite, and the legs looked similar. Feathersite also talked about the color of the feet, maybe give them a check. Beautiful bird anyway! No matter what it is!

I would say Australorp. They are pretty big, mine is the biggest bird in the flock.

Check the bottom of her feet.
Australorps should have light gray or pinkish bottoms, and Jersey Giants should have yellow bottoms.

That is if I didn't get them mixed up....

Yeah I read that on feathersite then they said however you cannot rely on that for hatchery birds the best gauge is to wait and see if it is a giant, THANKS feathersite, I could have figured that on my own.

I thought Austrolop, but they have gotten to be almost as big as my buckeye roo, and it made me wonder

How old are they?

They do look like like my Australops but I think feathersite is probably right on the size thing.

At 22 weeks old my Australorps are close to the same size as my Dominiques (of the same age), but I expect my Australorps to get bigger then them over time.

They are 24 weeks and the bottom of thier feet are yellow, now I will ahve to figure how to get them to stand still on the scale.
