This is my 8 year old hen, Eaglechick. I have her as a hand-me-down after she stopped laying, and I was wondering what she might be:

Oh yes, she does look like those. Odd, though, because she came from an egg farm.

Yeah Dark Cornish, very beautiful for 8 years!! She could be a good broody still if you want to hatch eggs

I just want her to get used to my new 9 week old group so she can use the nice new hen house instead of being stuck in the tractor. They are beginning to share the run, but up close isn't so good, so they are taking turns being out.I don't think she has Everett gone broody.

Probably a dark Cornish. Are her legs yellow and very stout?
