Is this a Barred Rock hen

This hen was found randomly in a church parking lot surounded by busy roads and nieghborhoods. I don't know how it go there but I caught it and took her home. That was back in June but I want to know for sure what her breed its now. My guess is barred rock but that could be because the only black and white chickens I have had been BRs.

I'm not an expert, but it looks just like my 4 BRs. Same leg and beak coloring, and of course the barring.

That's not a Bared Rock.
The Barring is way off, it looks more like a Cuckoo pattern than a Barred.
The other think I see wrong is it looks like she has White legs, Barred Rocks have Yellow legs.

I would say she is a Cuckoo Maran or a Maran/ Rock cross..

Hmm... Her legs are whitish but have blackish spots on them.

BRs who have been laying quite awhile do not have yellow legs--they fade out. She is a BR cross of some sort, but could be a CM cross. No way to know really. My gut says BR cross.

Thanks for saying that about the BR legs fading over time. I have two BR that are almost three now. One of them has very pale legs. The other still has yellow legs. I was curious about the one hen because of the faded legs.

I agree, the hen posted looks different from my BR hens. What color are her eggs?
