I was at tractor supply, and I saw a sign saying “Americana premium pullet” but the sign says leg bat and commercial brown hybrid. Does that mean the they are definitely EEs? And in fact not premium at all?

Like the last thread, there isn't anything called a premium pullet apart from apparently your store.

Sounds like they're EEs that are optimized for egg production, and you'll get a mix of green and brown. I'm all about egg production optimization. They sound good to me.

ETA: I suspect "Premium" is a marketing way of saying "high egg production".

Thank you! I get that the premium thing is kinda crap and most are EEs but I just don’t get why they would call them americaunas and then turn around and put the breeds the EEs are mixed with underneath
