This is day 10. When I look around the circumference of the egg there is a definite red ring, but I also see what looks like an embryo. Any help would be much appreciated since this is my first time incubating.

All I can say is that I had one that looked just like at day 8 (yesterday) and I was told it was bad. Today I finally took it outside and cracked it open, and indeed it was bad. You can take my experience for what it's worth, though, as I'd hate to tell you it is def bad and you throw out a good one. :/

x2
I would say thats a red ring of death as it looks like there's been an early death in the egg, the dark spot is the embryo that was developing.
When I get duff eggs I usually crack them into a bowl and have a look at the development of the embryo to see when it died and how developed it was which I find quite interesting.

I'm not 100% sure though as it's quite difficult to see it in the pictures, if you're not sure just leave it in the incubator in till day 14 and check it again :)

Thanks you pecangrove and clucksworth, I will wait until day 14 to be completely sure :)
