I didnt realize this egg had anything going on with it. There was nothing visable when I collected it a while ago. It's been hot this week and it was left on the counter in the house. Is this a blood ring forming or does it still look viable? The little embryo is still in there and wiggly. Im going to pop it under my broody and check it again but mostly I'm just curious.

If the embryo is still moving around itself then it is still viable. If it was me I'd stick it back under your hen and check back in a few days if there are any further development. How hot is it in your house?

I stuck it under the hen and we'll see. Its been around 33 celsius outside for the last few days and there's no air conditioning running in that room so I'm not sure exactly but fairly warm.

Might just be the edges of the embryonic membranes, keep an eye on it. Blood rings don’t grow and develop, live embryos do!
