Is this a Blue Swedish or some Rando Duck?

I ordered 2 Blue Swedish and 2 Pekins from Cackle Hatchery. I ended up with a bonus chick. One of the ducks, who sort of looked Blue Swedish, was always as big as the Pekins from day one. As their feathers are coming in, the markings are changing on the head and neck, and this little bugger has a raspy honking sound. I ordered all females fyi. And I don't think Cackle has blended ducks.

In my experience, every male duckling I have hatched and raised once they hit around 1 week old started showing a large size difference compared to the females of the same breed. Also with it starting to get raspy it sounds like you got a male. Also looks like a blue swedish just a mismarked/pet quality one. Aka. adorable, but not up to blue swedish standards.

The other two are typical Blues. Im disappointed because 1) I didnt want a drake and 2) Its the nicest of the bunch, and if its a male it has to go.

oh well. Fits in with the MO of 2020/2021.

Im still watching that one. Seems to have a honk, but maybe its a female. Their feathers are about 1/3 in. Ill post a picture in a few weeks, the jury is still out.lol.
