Are you sure it’s not a hatchery-bred red sexlink? Those are Rhode Island Red x White Leghorn.

I'm not sure, but the person selling it to me said it was a leghorn and red sexlink cross.

Well, in that case there’s no way to sex it at this age.
If it is a Rhode Island Red x Leghorn, like most hatcheries sell, it is female.
