Much bigger comb than the rest and very bossy. But also demands the most love. Leading me to think I have a boy

What breed? White Leghorn, I'm guessing? It's normal for Leghorn hens to have large combs too, so comparative pictures of the pullets would be helpful. Although the comb/wattle tells me roo, the comb is very pale, even for a hen - a rooster should have a bright red comb/wattle, and a young pullet's should be a healthy deep pink.

Thanks, you have me concerned about the colour now. Of course searching the subject just leads me down a very confusing and sometimes scary road. Everything from "he" needs electrolytes to kidney failure. I am very new to this but already love my babies so a little worried. Any advice?

Pretty much anything can cause a pale comb, from a mildly stressed bird not feeling too well to a severe injury. They could also just be developing a bit slow. Unless you see other symptoms or the combs never pink up, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Make sure they have proper feed, clean water, check their environment for any possible changes or stressors, and give each a basic physical check to make sure they feel healthy.
