Is this a buff wyandotte or is there even such a breed?

I know its young so it might be hard to tell but I was told it was a buff wyandotte and I'm not sure.

Buff birds are, well, buff colored. They're gold over the entire body. There are buff wyandottes, but that isn't one. It's a splash laced Wyandotte.

There is such thing as a Buff Wyandotte but Buff Wyandottes are buff- a golden color over their entire body. That's a Splash Laced Wyandotte.
