Is this a chicken?!

One member of my little flock has always been an unknown. I bought Arwen last October at a feed store--she was alone in a cage marked 'hens,' even though she was still a pullet. No one at the feed store knew her breed; when I brought her home, my Americana freaked out. For two months straight, my Americana was deadly afraid of Arwen and would run or fly away from her, screaming. Eventually, though, they became good buddies. But Arwen is prone to broodyness--we've had her less than a year (and she's less than a year old) and she's currently broody for the third time. I'm curious if her breed is especially prone to that behavior, or if she's just a really weird chicken. She's normally a really good layer, and lays pretty pink eggs.

Yes, she's a chicken and a very pretty one at that - most likely a cross bred of some sort.

Also probably why she's going broody so often- game chickens tend to do that lol, many of them are determined to make more chickens and difficult to convince otherwise.
