Is this a cockerel?

He or she is 3 weeks old. I only have the one and none other of this breed to compare to. Bonus points if you can tell if it’s a Mottled Ancona or Exchequer Leghorn.

They're pretty impossible to tell apart at that age.

Cockerel. Absolutely zero way to know which it is at this age. No bonus points unless it's a lucky guess haha.

I say cockerel too. I have a 7 week old baby chicken which looks like yours and don't know the breed either. Mine has a lot smaller comb and it is pale in color.

Dang. I was hoping by 7 weeks one would be able to tell the difference between the breeds but I still can’t tell with yours either!

Well I did get an Egyptian Fayoumi but wasn’t going to keep her because I heard they are very flighty and like to wander far.
