Is this a coincidence or...?

So earlier this spring (late March) two of my Silkie hens decided to go broody for the first time, at the same time. So, I let them hatch 10 eggs together. Each hatched and they co-parented wonderfully. Babies hatched on April 20-21. 2 weeks later they were taken away. It took them another couple weeks to start laying again.

And now, about 1 month later, they BOTH decide to set again. Is this a coincidence? Maybe they both have the same hormonal "clock'?

But anyway.. do you think I could expect them to be broody together every time?

I wouldn't want to bet the farm on it, but they may be influenced by each other. Silkies are notorious for being good broody hens.
Congratulations on your great broody hatch!
