This is my black OEGB hen. She will be 2 in May and she had her first molt back in Oct/Nov. I was wondering if this is a DQ on her? The tape measure is in centimeters and in real life it was 1/2 centimeter. It's 3 feathers per wing (6 feathers total/overall) and is symmetrical. The feathers I showed have the most white. I have county fair Memorial Day weekend and I was also wondering if I should pull it and see if it comes back fully black.

feathers take about 12 weeks to fully come back especially wing feathers but I don't want to take the risk that they won't grow back by fair since missing feathers is a DQ since its viewed as faking

Prepare your bird the best you can and present her in the best way you can. Go to have fun, meet people and learn. If you don't win this time, there will be other birds, other shows.
