Is this a drake?

I got 3 Pekins from TSC around March 10 so I’m guessing they are around 8 weeks old...and huge! Is this a drake feather coming in???

I don't know if they are being housed for a long period of time on that gravel, if they are you should expect some bumblefoot and leg problems in the near future. I would suggest softer bedding material or finer gravel. That stuff is very coarse.

No that’s only a very small part by the gate to the run in between the coop and goat barn....the rest is this.... we are just not done getting the mulch from cut down trees on our property moved to the run due to it being on a hillside and lots of rain so we can’t the tractor up there easily! They share a 8x8 coop with my chickens, they all just moved in together over the past 3 weeks. Ducks first then a week later I put the chicken in but separate and now they are all together.
