Is this a drake?

You will have to upload it to YouTube first and post the link here. Unfortunately this site doesn't accommodate video files otherwise.

I feel so silly saying this but I've never uploaded anything to YouTube.

Seems like the consensus is JJ is probably a boy. Thank you everyone! 💙

I’d say that those look to be early drake feathers. Again, it’s hard to guess without being physically beside the duck and even then it’s not always 100%. JJ is very cute! Seems like JJ might be a male but I could be wrong. ;)
Thank you!

JJ is certainly a character. He was less than a month old when we adopted him and got used to coming inside at night, he'd walk up to the back door when he was ready for bed. I was late openning the door once and JJ quacked all the way from the door into his crate. You haven't been told off until you've had a duck tell you off for making them wait 😅😂

Aww! I love that each duck has a different personality. People think they’re dumb but they’re very intelligent. Mine are on a schedule so they know exactly when to go in their house at night for snacks and what time to wake up for breakfast! :lau

He absolutely sounds like quite the character! He sounds very happy and spoiled just like mine!:p:gig
I ran out of duck treats once (which I usually give them at bedtime) so I shook the empty bag to lure them in, and for the whole rest of the week they didn’t want to come in for fear that I was tricking them without food again!
They do love to tell you off! Especially if you do something that they don’t approve of... I think of my ducks like little toddlers!;):lau
