And I would always think...Wow they are so photogenic! They set very still for the camera! Goodness. What do you do with a chicken that is so small?

Bantams make good pets and or show birds and are great parents too. They come in all colors and have interesting looks about them sometimes. They are not all that good for producing eating eggs, although you can eat the eggs, and there is not much of them for meat, but I guess you could eat them too. Mine are my "Yard Art" and I love them.

My Japs are not the smallest bantams I have, although they are close to being the shortest. My Seramas are smaller in weight but the roos are the same height. My Serama hens are tiny though.

I forgot to add that he's not full grown yet, so maybe there's hope for his tiny comb to grow. But yeah, he's REALLY tall for his breed, but I'll love him no matter what, he's such a sweet heart.
