Hello,

Is this duckling a female? The actual sound is a little different from what my phone could record.

I've watched tens of duck voice sexing clips and this fella's voice sound more like a female than the other 5, but I'm still not sure. She/he's 22 days old.

I really hope some of my 6 are females. I want to be able to sex them as early as possible so I can keep 2 females and give the rest away.

Another 2 weeks you will know

heres my pekin the first time i heard a voice, Its a female.

The videos realy loud if your wear headphone

Ah, yes, my duckling does sound a bit like that, just not half as loud and obvious, and somehow that sound can't be captured in a video. Fingers crossed hopefully she/he'll turn out like yours. :fl

Sorry all I meant to update the video in the first post, and have already deleted the original video from youtube, but it seems I can't update my post, so I'll just add the new video here. You can hear her/his 'ah ah' voice now. Is this a female voice? She/he's the only one that make sounds like this.

Try posting a pic of the group of ducklings together. If we can see all the bodies next to each other we might be able to pick apart some genders in size or shape just by comparing them to each other.

I managed to take one photo where they were all doing the same pose, will take more when I can. Here is it. The duckling in question is the second from left. (counting only the 5 that you can see the whole body of) They all look the same to me though, I can only distinguish between them by their color variation.
