So, we may decide to incubate eggs from this one chicken we have. We had two males, but got rid of one about 5 weeks ago, so any fertile eggs at this point should be fertilized by the current male. We are not going to incubate anything yet, maybe in a month or two. The chickens are nearly 1 year old (they are approx 49 weeks old today), and the male is mounting the hens, but too cold to be around them much to really determine how well he's covering the flock of 10 pullets. I know that one looks for the bullseye and seems like it is apparent in this yolk, which is from the pullet we are interested in hatching her eggs. But, what are your opinions as to whether or not this egg is fertile?

EE pullet that lays a strong shelled green egg of a good medium intensity green color. Male is a very large black Jersey Giant. So this egg is from this EE.
