Is this a fertile egg??

cracked open three eggs earlier... one was normal looking with a little white splodge, but two had a white dot with pale white rings around. Its not hugely clear in the picture but you can just see the white "halo" pattern. Are these fertile eggs?

Can't see it in the pic, but you're describing fertile. You can see some good pics in the learning center.

well I guess that answers my mystery sexed silkie then! She must indeed be a he and totally silent too! Hope it is a fertile egg... would love to try raising some silkies and would be amazing as the poss boy is silent
