Hi there, welcome to BYC! :frow

He is definitely NOT a RIR.. as stated by another poster, the white ear lobes is the give away. But that is some gorgeous red plumage! :love

The white lobes mean he comes from white egg lines. Red Leghorn seems like a good suggestion.. but have never heard of or seen them before, they appear to be possible rare. :pop

Other things to take note of that point to breed ID would be shank color, skin color on bottom of feet, and eye color.

McMurray has red Leghorns.
I did see that.. their photo is showing a bird with red lobes and lighter orange coloring.. maybe it's not a photo of their actual stock. Their description sounds accurate though.

I was gonna say many hatcheries don't use their own stock photo.. then again many don't keep stock but use contract farms. Someone who doesn't know the difference (maybe the site builder) may have chosen a photo of any red bird with a straight comb to use a reference.

I mean I'm not surprised that Leghorn has red variety, just that it's not more popular bird.. this is the first one I've personally seen posted on BYC, and I look at a lot of photos on here. I'm happy to learn and see something new everyday if I'm fortunate enough! :thumbsup
