Is this a girl (pullet) or boy (cockerel) easter egger? 12 weeks.

This is our mystery chicken. We hope she's a girl. One person told us that she is most definitely a pullet. But this one is always a question mark.

She has a very tiny comb that looks like it is not 3 rows. It is also very pale pink. Not red at all. It is more pale than the comb of the one we know for sure is a pullet (due to her color).

This chicken started out mostly white and black but since then started sprouting very brown feathers everywhere. At first, we thought they might be the "cockerel" feathers that people talk about when referring to the easter eggers. But they are popping out everywhere, even on her chest area now.

She's a very nice chicken and acts like a girl (acts like the other pullets we have). Any input would be appreciated.

Here is our chicken sitting on a pile of notebooks.

Brown "leaf feathers' sprouting out all over the body.

Very small, pale comb. One row for now.

I would be willing to lay money on it, that it is a pullet. The feathers are hen like as well as the pattern. By three months I would expect the comb to be more developed and probably more red in cockerels.

God bless,
Daniel.

Pullet for sure.

I have a few EE pictures in my profile of both my cockerels & pullets, you can clearly see the difference, and mine are only a little over 8 weeks old. Yours is beautiful by the way!
