Is this a GLW??

I have three of these girls from the McMurrary Rainbow Layers. I thought they might be GLW, but after seeing some of you post pics of yours as pullets I'm not sure. What are they really?

Yes, they are GLW. They're going to have more black and less gold than the show/breeding quality GLWs you might have seen pictured on the internet.

That doesn't look like a Wyandotte at all to me--way wrong body shape and head. I believe it's a Dark Cornish.

Hmmm, that tail does look more like the chicks pictured. I was thinking they were hatchery quality, which was why they were so narrow in head/body. However, the Cornish picture looks much more similar to their type. Does McMurray sell Cornish as layers?

I agree with Cynthia...I was just doing a search on here for dark cornish and IMO, it looks like that instead.

Here is a Gold Laced Wyandotte pullet I used to own. You can see the color difference as well as the shape.

The giveaway would be the super-thick legs. I agree, Cornish.
