is this a gold laced brahma chick?

We just hatched out this brahma chick, was told Iit was a gold laced brahma when we bought eggs, and I just wanted to make sure it is as labeled. I just can't find a chick pic of this particular variety. Thanks!

I may be wrong but it looks really small to be a Brahma, aren't Brahma's fairly large birds?

the others are leghorns that hatched out a couple days earlier, so they are kinda bigger. the brahma came out of a smaller egg.

I believe I have heard of bantam Brahma's so that could be a possibility though the age difference makes sense~

Does it have feathered legs? If so, then it is probably what you were told.

I'm pretty sure I have heard of bantam Brahmas - it's hard to keep up with all the breeds - many do have bantam versions.

I just found bantam brahmas through the search box, so they do exist. I really think that is what your chick is.

thanks guys! yes it has feathered legs . im more concerned with whether the coloring is right or consistent with this particular variety of brahma. I know there are buff, dark, and light brahmas, but this is my first time ever hearing about gold laced brahmas, so just wondering if it hatched true.

Never owned a brahma for more than a few weeks but reminds me of the colouring of a Buff Brahma
