Im am wanting to work with dual purpose breeds. Heres my plan.

Get breeder quality birds from show lines. Hatch out chicks. My non BQ or SQ pullets go in my laying flock for two years. The roos are sold or eaten. BQ or SQ birds bred, shown or sold. Every two years sell or eat laying pullets. Sell breeder birds as needed. Sell hatching eggs and chicks as well.

How does that sound? Im wanting to work with quite a few different breeds and need a way for them to pay for themsevles. Any flaws in my plan?

It sounds like a good basic plan! Now you just have to carry it out. That is pretty much our basic plan. Keep up the good work!
