In my personal opinion - not that it's worth much LOL - you would be better off with an electronic thermostat as apposed to a wafer. It's not that much more (I have 2 havo's and a brinsea oct. 20 original) and will give you more peace of mind instead of fiddling with a wafer..... You would never get me to go back to a wafer thermostat and in fact I GAVE mine away to a friend in need when her incubator had an issue. I new I would never need it again.
Good luck with whatever you decide though. I did get both of my havo's off of ebay

Does the 1588 have the electronic thermostat?

I did see a Hovabator 2362N what's the different between the two?

I also noticed some on ebay state No returns Accepted and some have a 30 day return.

If you're willing to spend the money, go for it. Even if you're not willing to spend the money, go for it anyways! Lol. The 1588 is like the perfect tabletop incubator.
