Is this a good incubator??

Allow me to be the first to tell you that people on this thread hate those bators. I have one and I don't have any issues with it. Once you get it fine tuned, it's good to go. But fine tuning it is a pain.

You can buy one new at Tractor Supply for 44.95. Don't know if its anygood since I just started using mine two days ago for a project for the kids. Love it so far and works good so far. Hope it helps

this incubator will require lot of attention and patience

if you have the time to take care of this incubator it may work

I rather save some more dollars and get a gennesis 1588 or a Brinsea eco

take your time to get a good equipement that you can easily can sell once you are finish with your project. and recover at least 50% of the purchase.

let me be the first to tell you that NOT everybody hates them..

The thing I do not like about that particular one is no forced air (fan).. the add on fan is about $40..

they are not that bad to set up if you do it correctly..

If you do buy one of those or a hova, contact me and I will be glad to send you some set-up instructions..

I have two of those and they work just fine for me!! It's not THAT complicated once you understand what you need to do.. so I don't know why everyone hates it so much. Except for the occasional 'fine tuning', I hardly ever have to mess with it. When it comes time to bump up the humidity, I put in some wet sponges and it works great! I would suggest getting the turner and fan though, that makes it all a lot easier too!

yes that there is the dreaded LG Chinese made bator. that bator has killed more eggs than it has hatched. WTS some people have had limited success with them but only after many many hours of mental therapy and a college course in futility, and 40 bazillion I hate this bator threads.
