Hi, I’ve owned chickens since 2021, and done tons of research.I’ve been selling since 2023 but I wanted to expand what I sell and have a unique and fun name and logo! Is this a good logo? Oh and I would love if someone could give me a list of rules for potential buyers example: 1. No touching birds.

Did you draw that yourself?

That's great! Better than what I can do drawing wise.

My only thing is I'd probably put "CC's Quacks & Peeps", it just flows a bit better making the CC a possessive.

What are you hoping to accomplish with your flock and selling? Profit? Pay for feed? Spread a specific breed/variety around your area?

It’s cute! However, from a practical standpoint? It has a lot of colors. Fine if you are printing at home and don’t mind spending money on ink refills, but if you are having it printed, more colors can cost money. Having one or two colors is more cost effective than multiple colors which may have to be done via multiple runs. Also, think about scalability. How will it look small, say on a business card? Will there be enough room for anything else, or will it look weird small? Are there too many details?

If neither of these is something you care about at this time, go for it. But if your plan is to build a brand, you may want to consider reading some articles on what makes a good logo. Changing up your logo later may mean a loss in brand recognition for a time, I would think. (Not that it isn’t doable - many companies rebrand themselves over time.)

I’m selling for profit I’ve been making decent money but I didn’t have a logo but I was using my mom’s homestead name Hagias Homestead but I wanted my own name because it’s my business and she gets 10-15% percent of what I make because she drives me to meet ups and farmers markets I also put some back into the business and I’m currently saving up for a incubator

I already did it on different scales and it looks great small, large and medium! I am fine with it costing more money I get the signs made custom

Know it is very difficult to truly make a profit, even for people that have had years of sale experience with birds. What breeds and species do you have? What age do you sell birds? Do you sell from what you buy at a hatchery or do you have broody hens hatch what you sell?
