I am considering buying Pekin ducks is $25.00 each is a good price?

For each duck! Are they show quality? Maybe if they are REALLY nice quality. Otherwise you can go to places like www.metzerfarms.com and get one for a couple of bucks.

I'm over here in Australia and pricing for poultry is way different. We don't have huge hatcheries that sell birds for a "couple bucks". I would be happy to pay $25.00 for some nice adult Pekins. If I was into Pekins.lol.

I paid $40 for two back yard quality Indian Runner ducks.

down here in ky i would pay 25 if they was show materiel but i was getting them for eggs i would only pay like 15 for them maybe 10 if i find some one who does not want them any more but ducks are hard for me to find not a big demand for duck down here only the ducklings sell good

Depends on where they're coming from and age and what they're worth to you. Show quality, well cared for young birds would be worth it, I think. Say range of $10-25. Older birds: $5-10

In Minnesota it is only 4-5 bucks and you can also buy off of hatcheries show quality and pet quality for cheap.
