Is this a guinea?

That's great...I hear they make excellent watchdogs..I mean birds

....so.....whatcha gonna call him/her? How can you tell if you have a boy or girl keet

That is indeed a keet. It is possible that mom hatched out a clutch nearby and he got lost wandering or couldnt keep up, for this reason I brought our keets in and brooded them myself. Now at two weeks. Guinea moms are unfortunately notoriously dingy and not great at the art of mothering for the most part. dont get me wrong I do love them, but they just arent the sharpest tool in the shed

Lol...since you raise them...I'm interested in learning about them...I'd like to get a couple in the spring...what's their temperament...how can you tell if their females...what can you tell me about them

Try some grass...or whatever wild keets eat...I have no idea...but babies need to eat

Does it have
Crayon orange legs and beak? From what I gathered from another thread...Guinea fowl keets have crayon orange legs and beak

Yes it does, I gave it some sugar water and I scrambled an egg mixed with scratch. Hopefully it will eat.
