Is this a hen or a cockerel?

This is my 8 week old White rock is it male or female?

I believe pullet, but I haven't had the breed.

Thanks for the reply I was a little suspicious about (her?) waddles but I did some research and White rocks do have larger waddles than most hens. I am hoping for a hen.

I agree with you that those wattles on an 8 week old are suspicious. I think you may have to give that one a few weeks to be sure!
