Well I wouldn't mind butchering it, however I don't want to have to wait until its gets older. I guess I will jus have to wait haha. Do you think he will fight with my other rooster?

Do him at 10-12 weeks and you should have enough for a two person dinner at least.

By this age? Colour and pattern are usually pretty good indicators.

I'm assuming we are talking about Easter Eggers and not true Ameraucanas.

WOW!! Serious rooster!! I am still on the fence about some of mine that are 2 months old, I wish the signs were as obvious as this little guy!

It's younger than the first one by the looks of it.

The colouring in the picture isn't great.

Deep red in wings is sign of rooster.

Girls typically tend to be very commonly patterned the same.

This is an old picture of it, but there only a week different in age, there's no red in the wings, it's pretty consistent in color. I'll post more recent pics a little later today, but by the looks of it, you can't tell yet?
