Is this a Hen or Rooster?

We recently purchased this Cochin from a breeder and was told she is a hen. This morning my husband opened the coop door and she went in the run and crowed three times like a rooster with her head up. She looks like a hen to us, what do you think?

A side shot would make me more positive, but those look like pointy saddle feathers. The hackle feathers are somewhat pointy, and "she crowed." To me it appears to be a cockerel just starting to mature. Sorry, and I m not 100% on this. Just saw your new picture. Now I am 100%-- "she" is a cockerel.

'She' looks like a rooster to me. It depends on how old 'she' is, when hens arrive at laying age, their comb and wattles become vibrant red and much larger. If 'she' isn't very old, then it's quite likely you have a rooster. If the bird crows, it certainly is a rooster.

She is 8mths old, this pic taken two weeks ago. The crow isn't loud tho.
