Is this a male (lavender orpington)?

Unclear. I have a hen named Arya - for are you a hen or a rooster. We always have a few chicks that are hard to call She was straight combed like this bird and uniform color. She had enough color and size in the comb to present as a roo but she's a hen. We had a rooster we called Henny because he was such a lovely hen. OOOPS He's the one in my profile picture. He turned out to be an even more lovely roo but the name stuck.
