Today I rescued a 3-4 month old rooster that was supposed to be a Mille Fleur D'uccle, but I am not noticing any Mille Fleur patterning. And as you can probably tell, he also has a crooked/overgrown beak...

He's not a mille fleur, but that doesn't mean he isn't another color of the D'uccle, which comes in a huge variety of color types. He could also be a cross-breed.
You can trim the beaks on birds, but it is best done by an expert, as it can cause intense pain, further damage, and bleeding if done improperly.
