Bought 4 cream legbars from Rural King (Hoover Hatch baby).
This does NOT look like its sisters. A8B94567-BDD6-46C5-900B-3287B0D9DB7E.jpeg 9D18A4E0-AD66-42E7-B96A-4D2F50510346.jpeg 608F0E68-FD4A-465D-B02E-E0870100E598.jpeg

No it's not a new breed.
Some type of hybrid (mixed breed). Hoover's loves to mix breeds with each other. And between them and the places that sell their chicks they're famous for mislabeled or mixed up chicks.

I’m going to have to examine my pen more. Because I am missing a legbar. None died & she should be the legbar…
Feed store mix ups are incredibly common. We get posts every day from all over from people who thought they got one breed or gender and the chicks end up being something completely different than what they bought. You might want to double check that your other "legbars" are indeed legbars.

They’re definitely legbars. Lol not knew to this.
Just find it very odd she’s just like her sisters as a chick, and has that coloring but has the distinct Mohawk.

We have had this happen twice this year. Once we were sold Isa Brown’s instead of Buff Orpington and then Jersey Giants instead of Barred Rocks. Now we have 20 chickens we did not intend to raise. We are going to see if we can sell the Jersey Giants. Very friendly birds but big for being only 10 weeks old.
