is this a normal moult?

im not sure if this would be the right section but recently my hen has started to loos some feathers on her back and chest like this

and when i was giving her a bath i noticed the under feathers look like this

she probably just molting but normally dont they stop laying when they molt and is this the right time of season for a molt? she is around 7 months old and she has just begun to lay and is laying a egg almost every day?

I can't really see from the picture, but they look like pin feathers. somtimes I've noticed pin feathers when my birds are moulting. So I think it's normal.
