Is this newly hatched silkie a paint?

Only one small black dot on the head definately not blue

yes its definately black colouring its just not clear in picture...

Im assuming black cock white hen
Or
Grey partrige cock with white hen

It could be a paint but I'm doubting it given the location of the spot.

I've seen some silkie chicks with a sort of columbian like pattern going on that can hatch with a head spot like that. I think that is a more likely possibility given how this cutie looks.

You should know pretty quickly though. If it is a paint the wing feathers should start coming in fairly white (with the possibility of a few black feathers). The feathers won't be patterned.
