Is this a Pekin?

Hi, I'm still new and learning about our ducks! This is one of our 5 week old ducks. I was told they are Pekins. The coloring has me stumped, I expected them to be pure white? They are big like Pekins so I'm not sure.

If you recognize the coloring, let me know, thanks!

Quite cute! but definitely no Pekin..

i would probably have a look-see around the forum and Metzer farms has good pictures of various breeds too. Almost looks appleyard like to me.. but hard to say, especially if the seller said pekin, unless it's a mix that is quite off, do you know what they had for breeds?

Thanks for the help! I'm not really sure what they had. My daughters kindergarten class hatched the ducks and then they needed a home. They said the ducks are supposed to be Pekins but who knows. I'll dig into it a bit more sce see what I can come up with.

If the flock the eggs came from had Welsh Harlequins, it could be a mix. I think it is a Pekin x something. Even a Rouen cross might show those colors. Very pretty.
