Is this a problem, or am i paranoid?

All of my feather footed chickens have a small, stubby "outer toe" (i dont know the proper name, but its the toe that has the feathers growing out of it) and the chickens nail is sticking straight out. Is this normal for feather footed breeds, or is it a problem? All of my clean legged chickens have normal toes.

It is a genetic issue associated with feathered legs. Some dactyl sounding word I think, helpful huh?

they will be fine, although not the best breeding specimens.
