Day 5-7. I think it’s dead, but what egg is it? Clear, quitter, etc? Both pics are of the same egg.

I'd let it incubate until day 10 and then check again.

too hard to tell in the pictures, is the first one day 5 and the second one day 7?
I think I can see something developing in picture 2 but that would be too little development for day 7 so give an updated pic in a couple of days?

Both are of the same egg.

I would say probably a quitter. Day 5 or even day 7 you should see the chick already. If you're not certain, leave it in the incubator for a couple more days. It won't hurt.

There are veins in pic 2. Leave for a few more days. I've been surprised before how eggs I thought were quitters actually started forming nicely.
Leave for a few more days and check again. Look out for a dark mass.
