Is this a roo?? and what breed is this chicken

Hello everyone I am new to raising chickens. I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I am wondering if this chicken is a roo or a hen? And what breed of chicken is this.

Hi, melissa03, and welcome to BYC. This is a guess since the picture is a little 'sketchy' and you don't mention age, but I am guessing that you have a game bantam cockerel.

Not sure on the breed, but definitely a roo if the bird he's standing beside is the same breed and age. And he's a gorgeous one!

Yes the babies are all about the same age.. about 5 months of age. Thank you all for your input on this. I was looking for just hens. Surprise!! lol
