Is this a roo?

I have two almost 8 week old Black Copper Marans that are supposed to be female. I’m questioning if one of them is a roo and I’m looking for any input. The one on the right is my concern.

Pretty sure the one on the right is a cockerel. Lots of red, large comb/waddles. Beautiful birds!!!

Right one is definitely a cockerel. I agree with @Chick or Treat, he does have more of the copper color and a larger comb

yeah, wing crest ,comb and waddle..100% boy. The other is a pullet. Picture perfect example.

110% cockerel. I've heard countless nice things about Marans roos, so hopefully yours will turn out well!

That’s what I thought as well. I was so looking forward to the dark brown egg color. We’ll see how he does but we’re definitely not looking for a rooster
