Is this a roo?

Ok so I’m starting to think my California gray pullet is a roo? “She” is about 7 weeks anyone else agree? Or am I crazy? Don’t mind the grumpy face, she woke up on the wrong side of the bed lol!!

I think it is a pullet. California gray females should be darker than the males, and yours looks pretty dark. I'm including a picture, in which you can see the lighter colored male on the bottom left.

You are welcome. It would be a good idea to post again when she/he is fully feathered out, just to be sure. 8 weeks or so is a good time.

She is about 6 weeks now so I’ll post one as soon as she starts fluffing out

My answer is pullet. That is remarkably small comb and wattles for a cockerel of 7 weeks.

@alexa009 is right it is a pullet and the comb is small for 7 weeks.
