Is this a rooster?

Hi, just wanted to see if somebody could tell me if this is a rooster. Born 7 march this year. Breed is buff orpington. Thank you.

Yes, very likely a male.

It's a buff Orpington, which are usually very slow to develop. Not in this case, though. At 7 weeks old, with that red comb and the big red wattles, that is definitely a cockerel.
